In 1993, with his B.A. in political science from Drew University in hand, David ventured 50 miles south of his hometown, Baltimore, MD for an internship at the White House in Washington, D.C. After volunteering in government, David was employed by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum where he worked with survivors and raised millions for a momentous cause. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of his life.
In 1996 David came to New York City and began working for the investment banking industry. After 5 years on Wall Street, performing equity research on radio and TV stocks and interacting with CEOs and CFOs on a regular basis, David couldn’t deny the urge to help people with what is typically the largest investment they will ever make, a home.
David’s financial background gives him an edge when it comes to many aspects of a real estate transaction. His comparative analysis for pricing property is among the best in the business and is always thoroughly researched. Interpreting, organizing and presenting the financials of a potential applicant for even the most conservative Manhattan coops is routine for David.
David’s professional experience in government and with New York’s top financial companies (Salomon Smith Barney and Credit Suisse First Boston) has produced a responsible business professional who works hard to achieve the goals of both sellers and buyers whom he represents. His refined sales approach and deal making savvy have enabled him to sell regardless of who the market favors and make him an excellent person to represent your property.
David persistently participates in networking and is constantly meeting new people and building relationships that will benefit his clients, customers and other networking partners. Networking has spread David’s sphere of influence beyond Manhattan to Australia, Brazil, China, Denmark, England, France, and a good part of the rest of the alphabet too…. Ask David who might be a good connection for you.
David believes in his membership with the Real estate Board of New York (REBNY) and their code of ethics which upholds a standard of conduct which should be a minimum requirement for all real estate professionals. David builds trust using honesty, good listening skills and excellent follow through.
Ultimately, David has the complete package of skills and personality you want representing you in a real estate transaction.
