Wynwood

Wynwood is located in Miami, just north of the downtown area. Also known as El Barrio, Wynwood has a large Puerto Rican population and the culture of the neighborhood reflects this. Many stores and restaurants in the area are of Puerto Rican ownership, giving the area a deep sense of culture and connection. And although this has started to change, as developments are created and other people move in, the area still retains its distinct cultural ties. Wynwood has recently seen a surge of street art covering some of the buildings in the neighborhood, making it a very unique area in Miami with a lot of artistic and cultural potential.
