Hudson Heights

Known to be a most charming place to live in, Hudson Heights is bounded by the Hudson River and Broadway in the east-west space and stretches north from 173rd Street to the lush gardens of Fort Tryon. Art deco stylized pre-war houses dot this neighborhood. Some buildings display neo-classical and Collegiate Gothic origins too. A high percent of uninhabited parkland freshens up the neighborhood, bringing in greener and prettier spaces. As Hudson Heights is a member of the Art Stroll, many exciting impromptu art events are held during summer. Over the last few years, the restaurant sector has picked up its pace, adding flavor to the evening life at the streets. The A Subway line goes up to this neighborhood and offers local stops.
