StreetEasy is Ready for Citi Bike – Are you?
Citi Bike is here and tons of bike stations have opened across the city. Now on any StreetEasy map, you can locate the closest Citi Bike station to your address whether you’re looking at a specific listing, a listing search or an overall neighborhood map.

To view this feature, simply click on the layers icon in the upper right hand corner of any StreetEasy map. A drop down will appear prompting you to check off the Citi Bike button. From there, all nearby Citi Bike stations will populate across map, indicating the exact intersection and location.

NYC Condo Market Is on the Up and Up!

We just updated our Manhattan Condo Market Index for February, which marked the 18th consecutive month of appreciation, and the index has risen 11.7% since hitting bottom in November 2011. The last time values rose to this level was in April, 2007.

Values in February were up 4.8% year-over-year, the largest annual gain since February, 2011. The highest year-over-year gains occurred in January, 2011, with an increase of 6.2%, after the financial crisis of 2008.

Just start typing the name of a neighborhood you’re looking in and either hit ‘enter’ or click on the name of the ‘hood, and it’ll be added to your search. You can add as many neighborhoods as you’d like, and you can select “show all neighborhoods” do it checkbox-style. If you have suggestions, let us know!

New way to search for closings!

We’ve always given our insiders the ability to search for recent closings, but sometimes the Dept of Finance will only record something long after the closing took place. Check out our new “recorded on” search in our recorded sales section to see every sale that was recorded in the last day, week, or other time range.
