Building: 103-105 Greene Street in Soho
Combination of one existing and four reconstructed buildings. Three of the buildings are designed with a riveted steel facade, the 20th century material that continues the off-site fabrication tradition established by cast iron architecture.
Based upon its adjacent sister building and photographs, the fourth reconstructed building was designed and rebuilt in cast iron as it was prior to its destruction in 1957. The sister building remains and was restored and converted to residential use.
The complex results in the creation of 27 residential and 5 commercial units.
