Building: 225 East 36th Street in Murray Hill

Originally named the Parker Crescent, and built in the 1960’s The Murray Hill Crescent was one of the first major buildings to be built in the Midtown/Murray Hill neighborhood.

The building was originally built in the 1960’s and was converted to Co-Op in 1985. This large building, which has 285 apartments, is set back, and has unique diagonal curved facade offering amazing sunlight and fabulous city and river views from many apartments and making the most out of it’s location at the foot of the entrance/exit to the Midtown Tunnel. Since the time when the building was erected in the 1960’s, the area to the north and east has been largely built up with many major newer luxury high-rise buildings that have significantly changed the neighborhood for the better in terms of neighborhood amenities and ambiance.
