Lisa Fitzig
Award-winning real estate agent Lisa Fitzig has cultivated a loyal client base and a wide network during her career in residential real estate. Why? Mainly because she listens. By listening to you, Lisa gains a full understanding of your expectations and special needs when it comes to selling your luxury apartment or townhouse. She’s also the perfect guide to your next home.
A Manhattan native, Lisa knows the City and its real estate. A townhouse owner, she has discovered her own dream homes at different stages of her life. As a member of the executive committee of the East Sixties Property Association, she understands the issues associated with townhouse, condo, and co-op ownership in Manhattan. She occasionally appears on TV as an expert in residential real estate and related financing issues.
In her first year in the luxury residential real estate industry, Lisa outperformed more than 150 top new producers and was named Corcoran's 2009 Rookie of the Year/Manhattan. She attributes her real estate savvy to 30 years of success on Wall Street, where she was Deputy Head of the Global Industrial Group, Investment Banking for Citigroup. There, she managed a team of more than 150 professionals who specialized in mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt. As a result, she now has an exceptional number of contacts, worldwide, gleaned from the highest-profile financial firms. She holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
Lisa recently formed a partnership with Corcoran Group’s Director of Townhouses, Tom Wexler, through which they’ll focus on brokerage and consulting services for New York City townhouses and luxury apartments. With more than 100 New York townhouse transactions to Tom’s credit, and Lisa’s background in finance, the two agents offer a double perspective on townhouse buying, selling and living. The duo will continue to work out of Corcoran’s Carnegie Hill offices, at 1226 Madison Avenue.
