Having lived and worked in New York his entire life, Ryan has a native’s insight and knowledge about the city’s neighborhoods, buildings and the nuances of residential transactions here. Ryan joined CORE Group Marketing after establishing himself as a successful agent with a large New York realtor where he quickly recorded over $12 million in sales. Working in partnership with a small team at CORE, Ryan represents buyers and sellers of condominiums, cooperatives and townhouses throughout the city. New Yorkers as well as national and international clients seek Ryan out for his professionalism and market expertise. Ryan is known for his patience, work ethic and strategic approach to optimizing each and every transaction. He understands and, more importantly, can succinctly explain to his customers the relative benefits of condo and coop ownership as well as the unique financial calculus that the market requires. His previous experience includes six years on Wall Street in real estate finance; his command of the “numbers” of real estate makes him an asset to both buyers and sellers, and his extensive transactional knowledge ensures a smooth ride through closing. Ryan’s academic background in finance, architecture and urban design provides him with a diverse foundation that he can draw upon to service effectively a wide range of clients. Ryan received an MBA from Yale University and a BA in Urban Studies from Stanford University. He honed his analytical and deal-making skills as a Director at Standard & Poor’s where he lead analyses of multi-billion dollar debt financings. He also spent five years working in non-profit community development and urban planning. Raised on the Upper East Side and a long-time resident of Chelsea, Ryan has also lived and studied abroad and speaks French fluently.
