Please do not generalize... there are 1000 agents in the company... and they are owned by NRT which owns Corcoran, Sotheby's, Century 21, Etc. you should judge the individual agent versus entire company.... there are some really bad agents in the company as well as excellent ones.... I know many who had good experience.... there must be a reason why they have been around for over 10 years and many top agents from other companies started at Citi-habitats or still work there...

Citi-habitats is one of the largest companies in Manhattan. Of course you will have some bad agents within the company. There are also some experienced and wonderful agents. Overall I've had a great experience. These forums are way too negative and stereotype a bit too much.

Put an offer in....they were pretty negotiable... might be going forward!

I am not too concerned about pollution. Most of Manhattan is polluted. Fresh air would be in the burbs. I will check out the units tomorrow during the night time open house and see how noise and air is. Thanks for the insight.

I was told that windows were double paned and the apartment seemed to be pretty quiet. It was situated in the middle of the building on the 5th floor facing a school park. I was really impressed with the massive private roof terrace... and the amazing midtown views. The prices a bit more expensive to Williamsburg but obviously more convenient being in the city. Transportation seems to be pretty central with Delancey street station close by. The location is still so so on the south side but northside seems to be up and coming... especially being close to Rivington and not too far from Houston. Still thinking about it but definitely will check it out on a weekday and during rush hours to see how it is. If anyone else has feedback please feel free to share!

I viewed the penthouse 1 Bedrooms over the weekend. They have wonderful private outdoor space and prices were reduced. Might put an offer in... does anyone have any feedback or thoughts?

Please there are over a 1000 agents in the company.... can't assume generalize that all the agents are bad....each agent is a independent contractor and everyone has their own ethics....the company has been around a long time... many renters or buyers in Manhattan use them..... have you seen broker's from Craigslist?
