THE RESIDENCE
From the wrought-iron gate surrounding the forecourt, enter at street level through one of two doors to the double-height entry hall. Herringbone marble floors in the front entry have radiant heat to evaporate the precipitation brought inside. Sun floods in through a row of windows positioned high above the doors. To the right, three steps lead down to the garden level kitchen while an L-shaped stair proceeds up to the parlour floor.

The garden level begins with two large closets, one for coats, another suitable for larger household items. Pocket doors open to the chef's kitchen which includes a marble-topped center island, two Bosch dishwashers, Viking hooded range, and two Franke sinks. The 36" x 48" Concord elevator, which serves every level except the top floor, opens into the kitchen. There is a large pantry with pocket doors opposite the powder room.
