The mission of P.S. 132 is to address the educational needs of all our students (general, special, and bilingual) by providing an optimal learning environment aligned to the learning standards. This will be achieved by the innovative use of available resources with the objective of providing a strong educational and developmental foundation for all children. To this end, we will provide a nurturing and safe environment where high quality education, improved instructional strategies through professional development, and collaborative planning are encouraged utilizing the family and the community to promote successful learning while coordinating community resources that can assist children with problems that prevent them from learning.
