Our mission as educators, facilitators, parents, and community-based organizations at P.S. 208 is to provide a committed child-centered , creative, caring and nurturing environment for all students. Our underlying educational philosophy incorporates the vision and belief that all children can be active participants in developing their academic and social skills. School-home collaborations are important components in achieving our mission. Using the performance standards in all curriculum areas as our guidelines, with substantial use of computer technology and arts education, we enrich the education process, encourage our children to meet high academic standards, and develop their fullest potential. We strive to foster in students a lifelong dedication to learning that will empower them to become productive members of society and its highest achievers.
