Grades: K-5 School: PS 3 Charrette School in West Village

It is the mission of PS 3 to provide children with an interactive learning environment, one that takes into account the strengths and needs of each individual. We recognize that each child deserves respect, encouragement, and the opportunity for creative self-expression. We encourage children to learn from other children of different ages, abilities and backgrounds. Bias based on race, class, gender or sexuality is actively fought. We support each teacher’s creativity and dedication. We work to create an atmosphere of cooperation and clear communication among teachers, administration, students and their families.
