The P.S. 7 philosophy is based on the belief that in a supportive, nurturing environment, every child (including English Language Learners, special education and high achieving students) will reach his/her potential. Together with the parents and community, our students will develop into creative, independent individuals. Students will grow and acquire the tools needed for their learning. Each student will leave P.S. 7 with the understanding that she/he is a valuable individual. Every staff member believes that the spirit in each child is to be honored. No matter what the challenge, children will always rise to the occasion.
