Does anyone know why so many apartments are up for sale at this time? Also, where will the nearest stop be for the 2nd ave subway? V.

the most beautiful apartments and great bldg. there are almost 90 units, so what is the big deal if 6 units are for sale?

I'm feeling like the tax abatement is disappearing and the whole 3-5 year hold that a lot of buyers had in mind has already extended to 6 years...Any one know if it's a 10 year abatement? Curious to know what fully assessed are in these units.

re: 2nd Avenue subway, the 94th St entrance of the 96th St station is the closest. The 86th St entrance of the 86th St station is almost the same, the only difference being that at 94th there will be an entrance of the west side of the avenue while at 86th you would have to cross 2nd to get to the entrance on the east side. The 86th St station on the Lex line is still a bit closer because the walk from 3rd to Lex is shorter than 3rd to 2nd. 86th and Lex is an express stop also.
