I have a signed contract in the building. I would be interested in connecting with others who have signed contracts to share information. If you are interested please respond and perhaps we can determine how to communicate in a quiet way. Thank you

Why is this odd? I've had several friends make first time home purchases and have anxiety over it, particularly if its a new development with sponsor issues, CofO issues, closing delays, etc. Connecting with someone going through the same thing helps put people at ease, and gives your friends some relief from hearing about your new condo trials & tribulations for 6 months...

mh330, if there were "issues" with your friends to begin with, why did they sign the contract?

Creel,

Really? Does no one know what its like to buy in a new development??? I'd love to see a new condo purchase go through without issues/delays/setbacks, but i've never heard of such a thing. If everyone didn't sign their contracts because of these things no new developments would end up occupied...

I'm assuming this buyer is trying to connect with people to share information. "The broker told me to expect the CofO by the end of this month, but the sponsor told you 2 months?" etc. It may not lead to anything fruitful, but it is satisfying in the middle of a stressful process.

Yes that is completely correct mh330 and said eloquently Really like the building (brownstone like living with all the ammenities), love the apartment and the neighborhood. No remorse whatsoever but to the contrary and excited about it. New buildings don't always go smoothly and this one is no exception but given the package I feel very confident and that is exactly why I signed a contract..Sharing information with others makes the ride easier....so that is what I am trying to do. It is sad to me (reading the comments) that people are so fundamentally cynical ...and all I can say is I am very proud to be odd.

How do you suggest we get in contact?
