i've been seeing a few condo s which have 1 floor on the ground floor,then a staircase down into the what is essentially a basement. any thoughts on these duplexs'??? ive seen 2 in greenpoint and 1 in lic

Personally, ground floor would be a deal breaker for me. Too much potential for noise, bugs, and of course the lack of natural light/view.
