Heard the windows were not changed during the renovation of the building- has anybody experienced or heard if there are any water leaks due to the older window frames? Did anybody install new windows? Thanks!

RAL does not like to spend money on windows. And they leak.
see: Franklin Tower.

No leaks. Those original windows are really sturdy.

There is also a very informative Google group on this building.

Thanks, Keith.

And while you're googling bh0902, google up Franklin Tower. 1 million dollar restitution from RAL to that building he made a greedy mess of.

For more RAL info, google up "Capella Mountain Village Telluride".

This has been a public service announcement from Truth.

Nothing shows up on my google search for "franklin tower RAL lawsuit." Anyways, even if they did make a mistake at Franklin Towers, how is that relevant? 1BBP conversion was already completed a few years ago now, and there's no major problems, not even during hurricane Irene. This lawsuit would only matter to me if I were purchasing in an unfinished building.

No lawsuit, nyc_observer. It was by order of the Attorney General.

Other problems.
Facade. AC system. Took a while for them to be evident.
When the building was sold out (and OBBP is still not near that point yet, so how do you know that there are no problems? Think that RAL and Ian are going to contact you with an update?)
Insufficient fireproofing ("So what, they didn't have a fire there anyway" RAL to Truth.)

Hope no problems there. If so, you will be looking that up.

Anybody living in the building know about the leak remediation that was started by the building management last may? There def are units in the building with evidence of leak issues. Building management is stating that the leaks are 99% resolved, but how about the last 1%? If someone who
LIVES in the building can give insight, greatly appreciate it.
