I'm looking for a 3 bedroom (preferably a 6 room) thats renovated and has large walk-ins. The budget is 16K-25K and were looking in the UES and UWS. We love the Lucida at 151 East 85th Street since its new, has great amenities, and in a good location considering it's a new build. However, the prices for a large 5 room are generally 22K, which is not really what we would like to spend, but are willing to. We've seen a showing of one of their apartments and it's exactly what we are looking for right down to the modern finishes. We've also looked at a few pre-wars on CPW and Park, but have had little success finding large and renovated apartments in our budget. Finally my question is: why are such small apartments going for so much? Also, do you think we would get more bang for our buck in other buildings on the UES or UWS? If so, which ones?
