The future owners of a brand new prospect heights condo (myself included) have a little problem. While there's been no shortage of claims that this will be the month our building schedules its inspections and passes them, we've been left waiting and waiting. Some of us planned to be in their new place last summer. It doesn't look like we'll be in this summer.
We all have escape clauses that have kicked in. Some of us have exercised them. But, my question is, although there's no guarantees of a set move-in date, as the leases on our current apartments run out, and living in limbo becomes more of a headache, is there any recourse we can ask for?
And, is there any way to get in touch with other buyers in the building. None of us have closed yet.
Take your escape clause and run.
The other buyers are probably running as we speak.
