We are likely to lose power in our neighborhood in DC so we cannot count on anything that requires refrigeration or stove; pistachios, cheese, red wine and water here.

I have 6-pack in my fridge and my local bodega says they will never close.

If we lose power I will have to hit the 6-pack before it spoils...
I live on prepared food, so I put four days worth of food in my fridge -- unheard of for me! I usually only keep one or two days worth on hand.
I have some nice sushi in there, some roast turkey and brussel sprouts, some lentil soup, and the ingredients for a Greek egg dish I sometimes make (eggs poached over nice tomato-y stew).
If the power goes off, too bad for me. In the non-perishable category I have crackers and peanut butter....

Huntersburg was right about caonima - not Chinese at all, (and the typos do bring to mind Brooks2 . . .)
nyc10023 - spot on; what I wrote is Mandarin for "She welcomes even you." I don't have Chinese characters enabled on my keyboard on this computer so I had to use is pinyin.

Then again, there are so many typos in my own entries these days, perhaps I am really Brooks2.

drdrd - that's why I refuse to believe that caonima is Brooks2 as has been suggested by others. I like Brooks2 and cannot believe he would dis the Statute of Liberty; she is not fair game for humor to me.
Look CC - I had been told that when a strong new female voice comes onto Streeteasy, that your MO is to stalk that strong new female voice. I did not believe it, but now I do because I have personally experienced it and continue to experience it. When it comes to judging other people, I do not go on what others tell me; I judge for myself only after competent evidence has been presented to me.
a. you are not a strong female voice.
b. the last time you were new was when the babe was playing for the yankees
c. you are a pretentious idiot
d. see d.) above
How will you over eat on this couch confined weather holiday?
I'm compulsively eating Trader Joe's Oyster Crackers.

Good idea. I'm making pecan meltaways tomorrow.

Aquatic theme with a New York twist.
So Sandy ripped off the facade of a building in Chelsea, a "prime" neighborhood. Is shoddy construction the norm in Chelsea?
Oh wrong thread again, let's correct. I guess Sandra was hungry for some prime facade!
Day two....

Beware of Anti-Libertites.

Me neither
Well CC I didn't tell her, but you sure as hell stalked me.
But since Novice is friends with AR, I am not sure why you are stalking her.
