Sofia’s real estate career started in Italy, where she was involved in international real estate transactions, including the rental and sale of luxury villas.
Having worked alongside veterans and top professionals of Manhattan’s real estate industry for several years, Sofia had the chance to learn from the best and to refine her craft.
Known for providing her clients with top-notch personal service and a high level of confidentiality, she firmly believes that listening closely to her clients is the key to finding them what they are looking for. She believes that her clients and customers deserve quality and “Quality is not an act, it is a habit”, as Aristotle said.
Sofia is equally comfortable in both sales and rental transactions and has represented buyers and sellers in the Upper West Side, Upper East Side, Midtown and the Downtown area of Manhattan.
Holding the designation as a “Certified Negotiation Expert”, from the Real Estate Board of New York, clients benefit from her natural ability to negotiate on their behalf and appreciate her measured confident style in guiding their transaction to a successful closing.
Sofia speaks Italian, English, French and Spanish and she enjoys both American and Italian citizenship. She earned her degree in International Communication from the University of Perugia, Italy and worked as an account executive for an Italian-American magazine, selling advertising space. An interest in real estate and architecture motivated her to pursue a MBA in Real Estate Project Management.
Sofia is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and FIABCI, an International Real Estate Federation with a presence in 60 Countries. She is also a Treasurer in the BNI Organization and a young member of the Event Committee at the Downtown Association, the oldest private Clubhouse of New York.
Classically trained as a piano player and singer, in her spare time, she enjoys music, gourmet food, reading, art and travel.
