Clinton Hill Lottery With High AMI Offers 35 Apartments Starting at $2,030

The new rental development on the former site of Key Food at 325 Lafayette Avenue in Clinton Hill is open and is now accepting applications for an affordable housing lottery.

Eligible applicants for the 35 units must earn 130 percent of the area median income. That range includes an annual income of $69,600 for a single person all the way up to $135,590 for a 4-person household. See requirements below.

The new 8-story rental building from the Slate Group and Aufgang developers was completed in 2017. It’s located between Saint James Place and Grand Avenue and contains a total of 117 units.  It will be a mixed-use building with retail on the bottom floor.

The rent prices offered here are slightly lower than the current median asking price of $2,617, according to StreetEasy’s latest market reports.

Amenities include a roof deck, elevator, lounge, fitness center, on-site parking, outdoor entertainment space and bike room.
