According to the latest StreetEasy Market Reports, the median asking price for an apartment in Park Slope is $1,567,500. That puts our Deal of the Week at almost $1 million below the neighborhood’s median.

Buyers who pay the minimum of 20 percent down ($125,000) can expect to see monthly payments of around $3,125. This includes a mortgage payment of $2,367 and a relatively low maintenance fee of $758.

Why You’ll Love It…

This prewar apartment has been renovated while keeping its original charm intact. For starters, there’s a wood-burning fireplace (yes – it actually works!), a gorgeous mantle and adjacent built-in bookshelves that help anchor the living room and provide valuable storage space.

The updated galley-style kitchen pops with modern stainless-steel appliances, subway tile backsplash and Carrara marble countertops, which are also used in the updated bathroom.

The two bedrooms are separated by the kitchen, with the smaller of the two featuring French doors as its entry.
