Once the center of New York City’s punk rock scene, the East Village is now a bustling neighborhood full of great eateries, nightlife, and parks. While prices in the East Village are still lower than those in its counterpart to the west, it can still be hard to find apartments below the 7-figure range. The median asking price for a home in the East Village was $1.1 million this August, according to the StreetEasy Data Dashboard. That means our Deal of the Week is priced at about half the median asking price for the neighborhood!

Where to start with this gorgeous unit? We love the whitewashed exposed brick throughout, the original hardwood floors, window headers, and 11-foot ceilings. But there’s even more to love when you look closer: ceiling speakers in each room, dimmable overhead lights — the list goes on and on!
