StreetEasy hit a huge milestone this year. It’s hard to believe, but for more than a decade, we’ve been helping New Yorkers rent, buy and sell homes, all while providing insights and analyses of NYC real estate data. Yes, we’ve grown and accomplished a lot, but we are still in a start-up mentality — especially in an industry and city that is constantly evolving and teaching us new things.

A lot of things have changed since 2006. Our office locations have moved around the city a few times and we finally landed in our current digs in Flatiron. We launched this blog, Neighborhood Guides, Real Estate Guides and two mobile apps and we have made major improvements – both things you can and can’t see – to make sure your real estate experience and the information you’re getting is the best it can be.

We’ve loved every minute of the 10 years we’ve spent as New York City’s leading real estate marketplace, but we couldn’t have done it without you. So, thanks for making us your go-to real estate source. Thank you for leaving comments and suggestions on our social media channels about how we can improve. Or tweeting comments about getting carpal tunnel by using StreetEasy so much (sorry about that!). We are proud that StreetEasy was built by and is operated by New Yorkers for New Yorkers. Thank you!

Take a look at some then-and-now stats below, and let us know what your favorite NYC moment has been over the past decade in the comments section.
