New York City is a place of endless discoveries. To show it all off, we’re excited to announce #StreetEasyFinds. Share your NYC finds with us on Instagram: Photos of homes, views, neighborhoods, or anything you’d like, and we’ll regram our favorites.

Each month we highlight the work of one of our favorite NYC photographers as they share their #StreetEasyFinds with us. This month’s photographer, Olena Hassell, comes to New York from Ukraine via Canada, and now lives “dangerously close” to the West Village.

ACCOUNT BEGINNINGS
I discovered the joys of Instagram after having babies, and developed a new passion for photography. It’s a great way of recording memories. My feed is always seasonal, and is inspired by what I see and enjoy. I often say it with flowers, as I cannot live without them.

FAVORITE SPOTS TO PHOTOGRAPH IN NYC
Walkable, family-friendly villages with cobble streets, cozy restaurants and secret gardens — found in West Village, Greenwich Village and SoHo. Pictures I post make me slow down and appreciate it all.

OLENA LOVES NYC BECAUSE …
The diversity. It offers so many places to explore in any kind of weather and seasons. Like everyone else, I’m influenced by my background and life — the vibrant culture,  delicious food, flower gardens and mature trees, nature, relaxed living and all things cozy. And luckily NYC has it all in abundance.

DREAM CITY OUTSIDE OF NYC
London, England  (which we visit often) and the South of France (which I’ve never been to but imagine to be very cheerful and charming).
