The studio units will be offered for lease at $801 for a single person, while the 1- and 2-bedroom units will rented for $810 and $974 respectively. To qualify, applicants must earn between $33,875 and $62,580, depending on household size.
The large apartment building is just a block from the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway and has been in development since 2013. It is on a corner lot between Borinquen Place, South 2nd Street, and Rodney Street, and according to Brownstoner, and contains amenities such as a landscaped interior courtyard, a fountain and center atrium, a small space for retail at the ground level plus underground parking for 68 cars.
