We’re testing a new way for buyers to connect with you. Starting 9/23, we’re running a test that places a new contact box featuring an Expert directly in StreetEasy search results. Buyers will be able to reach out to you without visiting a specific listing.
What this means for you
When you receive an inquiry from this placement, the buyer hasn’t indicated interest in a specific home. Your response is your first impression — use it to introduce yourself, your knowledge of the neighborhood, and how you work with buyers. Focus on building the relationship: share your experience in their searched area, ask what they’re looking for, and give them a reason to trust you as their guide.
These connections work the same way as your existing leads — they’ll come through Connections with the buyer’s search context (neighborhood, price range, and bedroom count) so you have what you need to respond relevantly. The standard reply timing rules apply.
