As a former teacher, I suppose I have lots of practice honing in on the listening cues needed by the buyer or seller to educate them on this very important process. I am a native New Yorker who loves the city that I live in. I have been involved in commercial & residential sales for over 22 years. In between, I developed experience as my building’s leader in working with our landlord at the point of conversion. Besides my knowledge of the legal issues, the market, and the city’s diversity of neighborhoods, I pride myself on my personal contact with customers and clients through every step of their transaction. When working with sellers, my past experiences have given me adeptness in marketing. My visual acuteness and artistic training both in the area of visual and creative arts, with schooling in photography and design, give me the edge in marketing and in staging (also known as Real Estate Styling) apartments. I have certification as a Staging Agent as well as being a Certified Buyer Representative (CBR) and a Certified Negotiations Expert (CNE). I earned my BA & MA degrees in Theater and Directing, Being a professional actor and director, as well as a New York State Certified Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped; I pride myself as an expert in the art of communication & education. Two skills, among many, which help in my work as a Real Estate Professional Personally, my interests are just as varied. I love the theater, films, reading, bicycling, drawing, writing, building, and crafts. I have many friends and love to entertain. I volunteered at a local hospital as a Rape Crisis Counselor for over 25 years. I believe in giving back to the community that serves me. I am involved with animal rescue groups as a Foster Mom for cats and dogs. My favorite permanent house guests, however, are my Chiweenie (Chihuahua & Dachshund mix) and my cats
