A new development in East Harlem at 2211 Third Avenue is now offering eligible applicants a shot at 22 affordable apartments in a housing lottery that was just announced.
The East Harlem building is 10 stories and contains a total of 93 units. It was completed in 2016 and is now making studios (3), 1-bedrooms (7) and 2-bedrooms (12) available to people earning 60 percent of the area median income. That means eligible annual incomes must range between $33,189 and $57,240. Rental fees will range from $913 for studios, $980 for 1-bedroms and $1,183 for 2-bedrooms.

Amenities for the building include a doorman, on-site resident manager, elevator, intercom, washer/dryer in each unit, fitness center, roof out- door public spaces, storage room, bike room and on-site parking.
