He enjoys finding patterns and hidden relationships in data - especially if it gives a better understanding of people behavior in complex systems such as cities. Before moving to New York in 2015, Philipp lived in Russia and worked as a data journalist for four years. He holds a master's degree in urban informatics from NYU, Center for Urban Science and Progress. He also has a diploma in architectural design.
