(Updated Jan. 10, 2017): Donald Trump is poised for the U.S. presidency. But his cohort in an infamous round of “locker room talk” about grabbing women wasn’t so lucky.

Billy Bush was eventually fired by NBC for engaging in talk about sexually abusing women and caught on a hot mic back in 2005. The appearance of the Hollywood Access footage from 2005 earlier this year sent the Bush man back to California and nixed his need for a grand NYC townhouse, which he listed for sale for $8.95 million.

Well, it looks like the Chelsea property at 224 West 22nd Street has found a buyer. It is now off the market. The deal was first reported by the Wall Street Journal.

Oct. 25, 2016: If you’ve been following the fallout from the leaked audio of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump engaging in “locker room talk” with an Access Hollywood reporter from a show in 2005, you know the outcome was not good for either Trump or the reporter. While the tell-tale tape was from 11 years ago, it quickly came back to haunt the reporter, Billy Bush, who just started a new role as third-hour co-host of NBC’s “Today” show. Within days of the leaked tape, Bush was suspended by NBC and subsequently fired. Once Bush was dismissed, reports say he wasted no time getting out of NYC and was headed to LA.

But, what of Bush’s home in New York City? According to The Real Dealthis is Bush’s Chelsea townhouse, which is currently listed for $8,250,000. According to property records, a “Jonathan Bush” bought the townhouse in December 2015 for $8.8M. That means the townhouse owner is either Billy’s father, Jonathan Bush — whose brother is George H.W. Bush (41st president of the U.S.) or Billy’s brother Jonathan S. Bush, who is CEO of a Massachusetts healthcare tech company.  But, oddly, the townhouse went on the market in April 2016 for $8.995M and then subsequently dropped in price to $8.595M on Oct. 24 and again to $8.25M on Oct. 25. Billy Bush was fired from Today on Oct. 18.

Here’s what the townhouse currently looks like:

A sign on the front door states utilities have been turned off — likely due to work being done inside the home.

The 20-foot-wide townhouse was apparently approved for a gut-renovation and the listing description by Engel & Volkers Real Estate reveals ODA Architecture has specked plans to convert the brick traditional into a glitzy second life. Take a look at the renderings:
