And that’s a wrap. Rocker and man-of-political-and-philanthropic-action Jon Bon Jovi finally has a sold price on his swanky 3-bedroom condo in the West Village, according to the Wall Street Journal. The final sale price is $15 million, which is a far cry from the asking price of $17.25 million he set last June.
Bon Jovi purchased the 4,000-square-foot duplex in 2015 for $12.95 million, though it was not far from the one he purchased in Greenwich Village in 2017, for $18,940,064. And if you don’t have Jon Bon Jovi real estate fatigue yet, check out the SoHo place he sold in 2015 for $34 million.
Bon Jovi’s West Village place is bounded by huge windows on three sides, and features a 52-foot by 29-foot terrace with views of the Hudson River.
Currently configured as a 3-bedroom with 4.5 bathrooms, this is really a 4-bedroom unit. Three bedrooms are on the upper floor, including the master suite that sports more Hudson views and a luxurious master suite with double vanity, soaking tub and glass-enclosed stall shower.
The apartment feels especially big given its high ceilings and walls of windows. There is also a large laundry room, hardwood floors throughout and finishes designed by Alan Wanzenberg.
150 Charles Street is a full service doorman/concierge condominium with terrific amenities, including an Olympic-sized swimming pool, hot tub and plunge pool, large gym with locker room, sauna and steam rooms, play room, and beautiful party room with kitchen and a giant flat-screen TV. There is a garage under the building with direct access to the apartments.
