Chloe Sevigny's Park Slope Co-op Already in Contract

So, when you dream up your perfect Park Slope co-op in an elegant, prewar building with sunny exposures and generally fabulous construction and design, it’s the kind of apartment that would give you an eternal sense of contentment, down to the apartment’s perfectly modern, artistic aesthetic and decor. Right?

So, then, given that Chloe Sevigny has achieved Brooklyn residential bliss, what the heck is she doing?

The blonde-haired, indie star actress has listed her 3-bedroom/ 3-bathroom co-op at 9 Prospect Park West for $2.75 million, just three years after she bought the 2,100-square-foot residence for $2.53 million. And, no surprise — it’s already in contract after just 42 days on the market. The Brownstoner was the first to report the listing — and concur that the apartment is a treasure.

Sevigny’s apartment is located in one of Park Slope’s best, full-service cooperative buildings. Since moving in, Sevigny has done a lovely job updating the second-floor unit.

There’s a private landing; a black-and-white tiled floor in a gallery space; large living room with a decorative fireplace facing Prospect Park.

The original built-in cabinetry in the pantry was mirrored by a remodel in the kitchen, which now has polished concrete floor.

Light hardwood floors add to the art gallery look of the place. Other features include beamed ceilings, large dining room and an option to add washer/dryer units.

9 Prospect Park West features a 24-hour doorman, basement storage and bike room. But, perhaps the catch in the whole deal is the eye-popping monthly maintenance fee of $2,864. Ouch.
