New York City is a place of endless discoveries. To show it all off, we’re excited to announce #StreetEasyFinds. Share your NYC finds with us on Instagram: Photos of homes, views, neighborhoods, or anything you’d like, and we’ll share our favorites. Each month, we highlight the work of one of our favorite NYC photographers as they share their #StreetEasyFinds with us. Meet Melissa Lee, a Tennessee native whose photographic subjects have evolved (just a little!) since beginning her account.

ACCOUNT BEGINNINGS
I was actually very resistant to start an Instagram, even for personal purposes, because I thought the filters looked gimmicky. But eventually, I felt enough FOMO that I gave in and got one myself. If you look at the first photos on my feed, they are all of my cat. So, that’s changed. But only a little.
FAVORITE SPOTS TO PHOTOGRAPH IN NYC:
Oh, it’s so hard to just pick one! Probably Greenpoint, because I just like being in Greenpoint, and the buildings are lower so there’s more light around.
MELISSA LOVES NYC BECAUSE:
I love that NYC is so incredibly diverse. I can walk down a street and hear five different languages. People come here with different ways of living and thinking, and the city is better for it. NYC has a little bit of everything and anything if you just know where to look.
DREAM CITY OUTSIDE OF NEW YORK:
I wish I had a cooler response, but my honest answer is Paris.
