Why it’s so popular: The median asking price for a home in Greenpoint is $1.5 million, according to StreetEasy’s Data Dashboard. That puts our most popular sale for December 14 several hundred thousand dollars below average for this popular Brooklyn enclave.
But a below-average price isn’t even the best thing about this Greenpoint 2BR. Not by a longshot! It’s huge, for starters, with 1,250 square feet of interior space spread out over two floors. There’s a full bath on each floor. And then there’s the outdoor space. Both bedrooms look out onto a private tiered garden, with a lower level patio that leads up to a large, grassy yard.

This is an amenity so buzzy that the New York Times raves about it, and so rare in NYC that we’re not sure we’ve ever seen one on a listing before. Now that’s impressive.
