New York City is a place of endless discoveries. To show it all off, we’re excited to announce #StreetEasyFinds. Share your NYC finds with us on Instagram: Photos of homes, views, neighborhoods or anything you’d like, and we’ll share our favorites. Each month, we highlight the work of one of our favorite NYC photographers as they share their #StreetEasyFinds with us.
Today, we’re pleased to introduce Christina Lau, a New Jersey native who found her way to NYC when she attended the Fashion Institute of Technology for college and has loved it ever since.

ACCOUNT BEGINNINGS:
In high school, I had the habit of documenting my daily outfits as a type of personal diary. When Instagram started gaining traction, it just made sense to take that habit to the platform. At the time it was intended to be a personal style log for myself, but as I started connecting with other creators and discovering some incredible content, it became more of a passion project. It slowly evolved into lifestyle and travel, as I wanted a space to share everything I loved — not just clothing. Living in New York made this a natural transition because of the endless amount of things to discover.
FAVORITE SPOTS TO PHOTOGRAPH IN NYC:
I don’t think I can name specific areas that I photograph most, and that’s what I love about this city. There is something new to be found in every neighborhood. Lately, I’ve been spending more time in Greenpoint and Williamsburg because of their proximity to Long Island City (where I live). I’d also love to explore more of Queens, as we have some gems here that people don’t often travel to from other boroughs.
CHRISTINA LOVES NYC BECAUSE:
I’m never bored in New York! I feel lucky to live in a place where no two days are the same. I’m not one to stay home often, so living here allows me to constantly seek out new experiences.
DREAM CITY OUTSIDE OF NEW YORK:
This changes all the time, but right now I’d say London or Tokyo. I love living in a bustling city and think both of these places mirror the energy of NYC while offering an interesting contrast in culture. They are also two of my favorite travel destinations in the world!
