New York City is a place of endless discoveries. To show it all off, we’re excited to announce #StreetEasyFinds. Share your NYC finds with us on Instagram: Photos of homes, views, neighborhoods, or anything you’d like, and we’ll share our favorites. Each month, we highlight the work of one of our favorite NYC photographers as they share their #StreetEasyFinds with us.
Today, we’re pleased to introduce Dani Bustabad, a travel photographer from Miami with Colombian roots who now calls the Upper West Side home.
NAME: DANI BUSTABAD // ACCOUNT: @BELOWTHESAMESUN
FROM: MIAMI // ACCOUNT EST: 2017
ACCOUNT BEGINNINGS:
From working a summer internship in Brazil to studying abroad in Australia, this is where my love for travel and photography ignited. I used my Instagram feed as an outlet to share my travel experiences with family and friends, which then evolved into inspiring others to see the world, too.
FAVORITE SPOTS TO PHOTOGRAPH IN NYC:
One of my favorite parts of living on the Upper West Side is being so close to Central Park, so that’s a no-brainer! Brooklyn Bridge Park during sunset is magical for those Manhattan skyline views, and, of course, I can always get lost in the tree-lined streets of the West Village, with all its dreamy brownstones.
DANI LOVES NYC BECAUSE:
I feel like I’m always in a movie here. It feels as if every moment in NYC should be captured, from its iconic landmarks to its diverse and vast amount of people walking the streets. Even with all its grit, this city sparkles.
DREAM CITY OUTSIDE OF NEW YORK:
Living in Australia has always been my biggest dream, just as much as moving to NYC was. Let’s see what 2020 has in store!
