Gandolfini's Former West Village Condo Hits Market for $7.5M

After leasing the sprawling West Village condo she used to share with James Gandolfini for $21K a month, Marcy Wudarski Gandolfini has now listed the 3,200-square-foot condo for sale. The price is $7.5 million for the super-nice 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom unit at 99 Jane Street.

Wudarski is Gandolfini’s first wife (1999-2002) and they had a son together, Michael. Wudarski advertised the apartment for rent in 2015 for $21K a month and the price was later dropped to $17K a month. It is not known whether she successfully rented it. Now, two years later, Wudarski is seeking a price pretty much in line with the going rate at the white-glove West Village condo building, which was built in 1999.

The double unit has a loft-like feel courtesy of 12-foot ceilings and walls of windows that face out into this classic West Village/Meatpacking district location within steps of the High Line. The free-standing building also comes with parking and full concierge services.

According to the New York Daily News, the apartment remained in Marcy Wudarski Gandolfini’s possession after the divorce, after which the actor went on to become a huge star in the HBO series “The Sopranos.” James Gandolfini later married Deborah Lin, who was with Gandolfini and Michael in Rome on holiday in 2013 when the actor was suddenly stricken. He died at age 51 of a heart attack.
