In the month prior to her father being elected the 45th president of the U.S., First Daughter Ivanka Trump put her little-ish luxury 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment condo at Trump Park Avenue up for rent for $15,000. Then, in December 2016, she dual-tracked it, listing it for sale for $4.1M. And now, months later, without an apparent renter or buyer, Ivanka has removed it as a sales listing and has dropped the rent to $10,450 a month, 30 percent off the original price.
Records show that Ivanka bought the sixth-floor unit in 2004 for $1,527,370. The condo is 1,549 square feet and sports some variations on a robin’s egg blue theme.
The place was on the market in 2011 for $2.95 million, but did not sell. In the meantime, it looks like a $10 transaction in November 2015 transferred Ivanka’s ownership to a trust.
Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, own a $16 million penthouse, also at 502 Park Avenue. They bought that unit in 2011 and allowed the 4-bedroom, 4,200-square-foot penthouse to be featured in Elle Decor in 2012. The couple were raising their three kids there until they moved to Washington D.C., where they are now renting a house in the Kalorama neighborhood for $15K a month.
