It must be difficult trying to make America great again with all that excess real estate cluttering up your allegedly billion-dollar portfolio. So what has GOP front-runner Donald Trump done to lighten his load? He’s off-loaded yet another penthouse at Trump Park Avenue. Maybe the spare change can fund some of those TV ads the potential presidential nominee started running against his legion of desperate opponents.

Regardless of the reason why he’s selling, he sold. Trump fetched $14.05 million for the 4,100-square-foot unit atop the prewar condominium at 502 Park Avenue #PH27, the former Delmonico Hotel, which Trump is said to have poured more than $100 million into his 2004 renovation.

As Trump barnstorms the country, delighting fed-up sectors of the Republican electorate and infuriating his party’s establishment, the sale on this full-floor, 4-bedroom, 6-bathroom unit closed well under the original $16.8 list price. But Trump is clearly eager to divest himself of some hard assets. The Donald sold another penthouse unit in the building six months ago for $21 million.

And that’s not all: A third unit owned by Trump is listed for sale for $35 million. This luxurious duplex penthouse (PH-31/32) has been on the market for almost three years, but what’s the rush? The masterpiece sports a pretty impressive rooftop terrace with enviable views of Manhattan. The unit — which is also listed for rent at an even $100,00 a month — eats up the top two floors of the 32-story hand-laid brick and terra cotta-trim building. The 6,300-square-foot residence carries $17,768 and $7,823 in monthly taxes and maintenance charges, respectively.
