So you’ve secured an agreement to be the listing agent for an Experts connection’s home. Congratulations! Nothing shows your value as an Expert more than supporting a client through their entire journey, including when it’s time to sell.
As you get ready to create the listing on StreetEasy, you’ll need to indicate that it originated from the Experts program. In this article, we’ll tell you how and why to do this.
How to mark a listing as Experts-originated
Log into your StreetEasy account and follow these steps on desktop web or the Agent Tools app.
1. Go to Agent Tools > My Listings
2. Create a new listing by clicking Create New Sale, or edit an existing listing.
3. Go to the Management tab where you’ll see a section for Lead Source. Check the box that says Experts program, then search for the connection’s name or email address and select the appropriate contact.
4. Save your listing.
And that’s it! You’ve now marked your listing as Experts-originated, and linked it to the seller connection.
Why mark a listing as Experts-originated?
By formally indicating that a listing came from an Experts connection, your performance and deal history in the program will reflect the listing, how it performs, and any associated transactions. It also helps inform StreetEasy of the buildings, neighborhoods, price points, and types of homes you have experience with, as we work to match you with the most relevant buyers and sellers.
As an added bonus, you’ll receive a complimentary Featured Listing for any listing you mark as Experts-originated. Featured Listings appear in the first two slots of StreetEasy search results for relevant criteria, and receive 94% more inquiries than non-featured listings.
Lastly, marking your listing as Experts-originated grants you and your seller connection access to the Listing performance dashboard. This easy-to-use dashboard provides vital performance data such as the listing’s days on market, views, messages, saves, and shares. You can track this data over time and compare the listing to similar homes on the market, powered by StreetEasy’s expansive database.
