Experts may receive buyer or seller connections introduced by StreetEasy Concierge, our service to help more people reach their goal of buying or selling a home in New York City. Consumers can reach out to the Concierge directly to receive guidance and StreetEasy resources to aid them in their journey, or be connected with an Expert agent who is well-suited for their needs.

To best serve these connections, it’s important to understand the StreetEasy Concierge service and how it fits into the Experts program. Here’s a simple overview.

What is StreetEasy Concierge?

StreetEasy Concierge is a team of licensed real estate professionals* who help buyers and sellers understand the NYC real estate market, their next best steps toward buying or selling a home, and the various StreetEasy resources available to assist them in their journey. Our Concierge can also match these consumers with Experts who’ve helped buyers and sellers in the same neighborhoods or buildings. So for Experts, StreetEasy Concierge is another channel through which they may be connected with interested buyers and sellers.

Buyers and sellers can contact the Concierge via the buyer-facing or seller-facing landing pages on the StreetEasy website, or by emailing concierge@streeteasy.com.

*Concierge team members are real estate licensees; however, they are not agents and do not provide real estate brokerage services. StreetEasy does not intend to interfere with any agency agreements consumers may have with a real estate professional, nor solicit their business if they are already under contract to buy or sell a property.

How does the Concierge match buyers and sellers with Experts?

StreetEasy Concierge uses our proprietary, data-backed tool to match buyers and sellers with the right Expert for them based on the Expert’s experience. We consider factors such as the consumer’s budget and desired neighborhood, building, bedroom count, and property type (condo, co-op, townhouse, etc.), and how well it matches an Expert’s deal history in the neighborhood or building. Our Concierge also prioritizes top Experts based on their performance in the program.

How do I become eligible to receive connections through the Concierge?

By default, all Experts are eligible to be matched with buyers and sellers via Concierge, but the amount of connections you receive depends on your deal history and performance in the program. How can you become a top-performing Expert? In addition to using your specific, hyper-local expertise to help buyers and sellers close on their ideal home, make sure you’re updating the status of your connections and reporting your Experts deals in a timely manner. Over time, your conversion record can open the door to more Concierge connections.

If you’d like to opt out of receiving Concierge connections, you may do so by contacting your Business Advisor.

What does it look like when I receive a Concierge connection?

If you’ve been matched with a buyer or seller through Concierge, you’ll receive an email from concierge@streeteasy.com with subject line “StreetEasy Concierge | Introduction: [Buyer/Seller Name] x [Your Name]”. The consumer will be copied on the email, and it will contain information about their home criteria as well as a few listings of interest.

Additionally, you’ll see the connection in Agent Tools under Experts > Connections. The message will indicate that the connection came through StreetEasy Concierge.
