Joy Kimmelman

Joy Kimmelman first entered the world of New York City real estate as a buyer. Determined to find the right home for her growing family, she combed through real estate listings, studied the neighborhood she wanted to live in, and responded to an ad placed by a listing agent. The apartment was not right but the agent was. Thanks to a real estate agent who understood her needs, Joy was soon celebrating the New Year in her new home. She has since moved out of that apartment and now lives across the street in an historic townhouse in Carnegie Hill.

Joy is a native New Yorker whose high energy level and get-up-and-go attitude make her a natural for the fast paced world of New York City real estate. She has assisted in the sale of co-ops, condominiums, and townhouses as well as rental apartments. Her approach is a simple one— she tries to replicate her own very positive personal experiences as a NYC property seller, buyer, and renter. Joy is upfront and direct, listens to the needs of her sellers and buyers, and patiently guides them through the often exasperating process of NYC real estate.

As the parent of two children, Joy is particularly attuned to the ever-changing needs of New York City families. She has been happily associated with The Abraham Joshua Heschel School, The Nightingale-Bamford School, The Trinity School, and The George Washington University.
