Born and raised in the Bedford Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY, Lauren Nicol Walton is a true New Yorker at heart, and she takes it with her wherever she goes. Her major influences included her parents, who instilled a drive to be successful at whatever she aimed to accomplish. This direction took her out of New York to Atlanta, GA, where she studied as a Fine Arts major at the illustrious Spelman College, but she made sure that her career path would eventually bring her back to her beloved hometown.
Lauren found her interest in real estate while working in art administration in some of New York's most upscale art galleries. She discovered that her listening skills and passion for problem-solving were a perfect combination to make her the best choice for clients seeking a real estate consultant's guidance.
"I don't want to find you a place to live; I want to find you a home, to live in," has been her motto for approaching all of her clients. Her experience has taught her to anticipate and satisfy the needs of customers and, if necessary, to guide them through the most challenging negotiations in their real estate transaction. As a priority, she makes sure that they know every aspect of the rental and sales process with current market information, including the latest industry trends and any new residential or commercial development.
Lauren is also an accomplished billiards enthusiast and competes in the APA (American Poolplayers Association). She is also a classic film buff, part-time yogi, self-proclaimed restaurant and food connoisseur, and loves all things to do with music and dancing. Her future goals include earning her masters in Art History and J.D. in Real Estate Law from Columbia University, owning an art gallery in Chelsea, and buying a three-story brownstone in Bedford Stuyvesant.
