A magna cum laude graduate of Florida International University with a M.S. in Hospitality Management, Aliya was born in Pakistan, grew up in Malaysia and Malta, and lived in Miami, Florida and the Silicon Valley in Northern California before making New York City her home. She adores dogs and volunteers at a local dog shelter whenever she gets the chance.
