Discussion about
Was about to close on this condo and 1 day later he decides not to sell it to me. We both agreed that I would buy this condo and that he would be willing to sell it to me. I signed a $200k deposit over, paid for the management fee, bought $80k worth of furniture and he told me he was moving out this week. I was planning on moving in a day after closing but then he decides to put the apartment off the market. Is there any legal action that I can take or penalties I can invoke on this dude? Or can I still get this apartment? What would you do?

I know but the language got more salty, so I thought maybe the location for this totally made up situation might have changed.

Yes. Also, the more gentlemanly/ladylike subject line would read "I was made love to. Can I win?"

Remember, this is a family discussion board, or at least it would be if it were legal under Fair Housing laws for me to say that.

Not really, you'd be grammatically incorrect with a dangling preposition.

Does this discussion board provide housing?

a dangling preposition" ... again, a reminder that this is a family discussion board.

And yes, threads are at times created on this discussion board for the purpose of offering housing for sale or rent.

I didn't comment on the more pedantically-correct subject line -- I have no idea what you're referring to at. Perhaps you'd be a bit more clear-headed if you stopped doing speedbumps.
