When John Legend lamented in his love song “All Of Me” that his beloved was “crazy” and he was out of his mind, maybe the ballad had really pregnant meaning — not that his wife Chrissy Teigen is pregnant. We have no inkling about that, though the beauty did recently say she wants a minivan full of kids.

It’s just that the couple have listed their Nolita one-bedroom for $4.495 million and expect a quick sale. Is that really crazy though?

At a per-square-foot price of $2,282, the 1,969-square-foot condo at 374 Broome Street is hardly the priciest pad in the lower East Side Manhattan neighborhood. In a city brimming with all kinds of luxury development taking over blocks where old tenement homes once offered up cockroach-friendly railroad flats, the Legend/Teigen pad is the new normal — even considering the superbly appointed unit in the coveted Brewster Carriage House was featured on the cover of Architectural Digest.

While the building dates back to 1856, the renovations make the old carriage house the best of old and new. The Legend/Teigen unit boasts top-notch decor, complete with lots of reclaimed wood, cast-iron columns, exposed brick, a chef’s kitchen with a butler’s pantry/laundry room and a master suite that spared no expense for comfort and amenities, including a deep cast-iron tub, walk-in shower and radiant heat tiles. The listing is held by Jason Walker of Compass. (There’s also an amazing $8.995M penthouse listed for sale in the building, too, that features spectacular private garden/terrace space.)

This is the second home the couple has put up for sale in the past year. They fetched $2 million for a super cool and fabulously remodeled mid-century modern in Hollywood Hills. Can’t wait to see what — and where — the lovebirds buy next time around. They’ve racked up two fabulous homes and gave them A-plus makeovers.
