Designed by the renowned J. E. R. Carpenter, 825 Fifth Avenue is deemed one of the most attractive buildings on Fifth Avenue. This impressive structure was one of Carpenter’s fleet of Upper East Side apartment buildings known as some of the most beautiful residences in New York. Constructed in 1927, this 23 floor pre-war building has an ornate rooftop decorated with red tile and chimneys. with five apartments per floor, the building has smaller apartments than many other comparable buildings on Fifth Aeenue.
